ZisBoomBah Among Frontrunners in Michelle Obama’s Apps for Healthy Kids Competition
Time for a little self-promotion: Since public voting started this week, ZisBoomBah has been switching back and forth between first and second place in Michelle Obama’s nationwide Apps for Healthy Kids competition This is huge news for our startup. If we win, we’ll get major recognition and receive $10,000.
The details: ZisBoomBah is the only contestant from Colorado that was even approved to compete in the First Lady Michelle Obama’s Apps for Healthy Kids Contest, which is part of her Let’s Move! campaign to end childhood obesity. We entered into the competition in the tools category (the other category being games) with our free online tool “Pick Chow.” And if you’ve been reading around here for a while, you know why – Pick Chow encourages kids to play with food to build their own healthy meals.
