ZisBoomBah.com’s New Interactive Family Game The Challenger Calendar Tracks And Rewards Kids’ Goals

The product release is kicking off a family goal-setting contest with an iPad as the Grand Prize.

One year ago, the team behind ZisBoomBah.com, a fun kids food website, headed to Washington D.C. to accept the grand prize in Michelle Obama’s Apps for Healthy Kids competition. Since winning the recognition as the top kids nutritional tool in the country, the company is now cooking up more food fun for kids and families. Their most recent initiative is getting parents organized and on a healthy track this September by using their new application, The Challenger Calendar, a game for achieving goals.  To enter for a chance to win an iPad, families use The Challenger Calendar for one month and provide ZisBoomBah feedback on how the game is changing their family’s habits. The Family Goal Setting contest begins September 1, 2011 and runs throughout the month. For details and to enter, families can email marykate@zisboombah.com or call 303-995-2526.

ZisBoombah’s New Game: The Challenger Calendar

As kids and parents are gearing up for Back to School, ZisBoomBah has launched a new game – The Challenger Calendar.  Beth, a ZisBoomBah mom, can now create goals for Jacob and Katie, her two active kids.  Beth assigns goals by dragging and dropping to a specific day on her Challenger Calendar.  Beth is notified once her kids completes and checks off their daily goals on the kids Challenger Calendar.  For each completed goal Jacob and Katie gainZisBoomBah points they can trade in on the site for rockin’ accessories for their antvatar, their ant character that represents them on the website. Beth can also give her kids a weekly reward, like a trip to the local zoo this weekend.   In addition, Jacob and Katie set their own personal goals and write about their accomplishments with their very own online personal journal.

“The Challenger Calendar will revolutionize the way families achieve goals by making it a fun and easy game!”  Karen Laszlo, Founder, ZisBoomBah.

What has ZisBoomBah been up to since winning last year? They took the grand prize winning funds and started a new nutrition & health teacher’s curriculum program and launched a new food game – Pick Chow! Eat Out, which is a restaurant spin-off from the award-winning application Pick Chow!  That’s not all!  ZisBoomBah hit the road with Pick Chow!
