Memorial Day Cookout

ZisBoomBah's Memorial Day Menu is super kid-friendly - the recipes include instructions for what parts kids can do.

On Monday, May 28, our nation honors the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Memorial Day also serves as the unofficial start of summer when families and friends gather to celebrate the season with picnics, parades, and backyard barbecues.

For parents and children, Memorial Day marks the end of the school year and the beginning of summertime activities. Swimming pools open, bedtimes are pushed back, and outdoor eating becomes an everyday mealtime pleasure.

If you’re planning a backyard bash, get ready to fire up the grill, pull out the cooler, and enjoy ZisBoomBah’s delicious summertime spread of kid-friendly, nutritious appetizers, salads, main dishes and drinks. A lot of these recipes work well with small hands, so wash those hands and dig in to our Memorial Day menu!

Do you have a favorite barbecue or summertime picnic recipe you love?  We would be thrilled for you to share your recipes and remembrances with the ZisBoomBah parent community. Please post your comments below.
