Articles by Kate Hayes
Kate Hayes is a children’s book author, professional marketing writer, former TV news anchor, and blogger. Her funny stories about parenting and life in New England (www.adventuresinparenting.me) recently earned her recognition as one of the BlogHer 2011 Humor Voices of the Year. Kate’s most important role is that of a busy mom with two young children and a husband to feed. And most of the time, she feels like she doesn’t do a very good job of making the best food choices. That’s why she is so excited to have found ZisBoomBah. Kate will be using the website tools to teach her family about nutrition and challenge herself to plan and prepare healthier meals on a daily basis. She will be documenting their journey for readers to share in on the ZisBoomBah blog.

I am a non-cooking, nutritionally-impaired mom who has recently embarked on a journey to teach my family how to eat healthier meals. As I mentioned last week, I am going to be using ZisBoomBah as a tool to help us get there. My daughter Anna is six years old and my son Kellen is three. I think it is the perfect…

Oh, the shame in that confession! If only it were possible to look around the room to see other sympathetic nutritionally challenged…
