Q: Where can I learn more about Zisboombah and how best to use the website?
A: You can view the videos at any time, even if you are not logged in. You can also learn more if you click on the parents’ section of the home page. When your child signs up for Zisboombah, you have successfully activated his/her and your account have the option to take a video tour and play with all the tools! . Press play, and the video will give you and your child a virtual tour with everything you need to know about Zisboombah.com. Make sure you have the volume on your computer turned on! You can access the “Take a Tour” video anytime from the ZisBoomBah.com homepage. The “Parents” section is a great place to find out more about Zisboombah. Q: What are the ratings on the “Add it Up!” meters based on? Who decides how healthy a meal is that my child creates?
A: The ratings are based on the nutritional values an average child has for dinner. These values are based on the child’s age and gender. Both the ratings and the nutritional values have been carefully reviewed and programmed by our panel of health and nutrition experts. For each meal, a child must have AT LEAST one non-starchy vegetable, a protein, and a grain in order to ensure a healthy balance…but the rest is up to them!
Q: As a parent, I’m concerned about my child’s internet safety. Who can view my child’s profile on Zisboombah.com, and how do you ensure that my child’s and my own privacy are protected?
A: Only parents may view your child’s profile. To ensure their safety, you must approve who your child is allowed to be friends with on Zisboombah. If you do not approve the friend, that user cannot interact with your child. If you have a specific concern regarding a user or further privacy information, please contact us through the “feedback” tab or email us at zbb@zisboombah.com, and our team will review and get back to you. You and your child’s safety are important to us! Please remember that the ant characters, Zis, Boom and Bah may from time to time send motivational messages or answer questions about food choices or about the ants.
Q: I noticed my child can receive messages in his/her own Zisboombah “inbox”. Who can send them messages and who can they send messages to? Can I monitor these messages?
A: You child may only interact with family, approved friends, and the ZisBoomBah team. To ensure that they are safe you approve whom they are allowed to be friends with. If you do not approve the friend, that user cannot interact with your child.
Q: I did not get a confirmation email to approve my child’s ZisBoomBah account. What should I do?
A: First, double check your email inbox and the spam filter or “trash” section of your email account. Sometimes, if an email account has a strict spam filter, our confirmation email may end up in the spam or trash section. If you still cannot find the confirmation email, go back to your child’s profile on Zisboombah.com and make sure they entered your correct email address. If all of these options do not solve the problem, try signing up one more time just in case your child’s request was not properly processed or email us at zbb@zisboombah.com and we will work with you to activate the account.
Q: I am not getting the emails to approve my child’s Pick Chow! meals. What can I do?
A: Make sure you’re child has been properly signed up for Zisboombah.com. This means that you have approved your child’s account by clicking on the link in the confirmation email. When the account has been successfully activated, you will get a second email informing you that your child’s account has been approved. If you have done these steps correctly, but you still don’t get the emails with the PickChow! meals, try checking your spam filter or trash section of your email account. Sometimes, if an email account has a strict spam filter, an email may end up in the spam or trash section. If none of these suggestions solve the problem, please email us at zbb@zisboombah.com and we will fix the issue.
